THE REPSOL SOUTHBRIDGE AUTOCROSS REGULATIONS
SATURDAY 6th April 2019 478 Jollies Rd – SOUTHBRIDGE
The event is a Clubsport basic grass autocross, promoted by Ratec Motorsport Incorporated, and will be held on Saturday 6th April 2019 at 478 Jollies Rd, Southbridge.
The Meeting will be held under these Supplementary Regulations, the MotorSport NZ National Sporting Code and its Appendices and Schedules particularly Appendix Five, Schedule C being the Standing Regulations for all ClubSport Events and Appendix Two, Schedule A – Driver and Vehicle Safety Requirements.

- EVENT DESCRIPTION:
3.1 Venue: Southbridge – 478 Jollies Rd.
3.2 The Event: There will be one Indian File per course. There will be a minimum of three courses, with two laps and two runs at each course. The Clerk of Course has the right to abandon any run and results will be on last completed run.
3.3 Classes: Vehicles will be divided into the following classes:
(1) 2WD 0-1300cc
(2) 2WD 1301-1600cc
(3) 2WD 1601cc +
4.1 Entry Fees:
The entry fee for this event is $20.00, including GST per competitor.

4.2 Entries will be accepted from multiple drivers (max 3) sharing the same car. If the car is shared with other drivers it must be noted on each entry.
Organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry in accordance with the prescribed provisions of the National Sporting Code.
- COMPETITOR REQUIREMENTS AND UNDERSTANDING:
5.1 Competitor Understanding: In submitting the entry competitors (Entrant and Drivers) are deemed to fully understand the MotorSport NZ National Sporting Code and its relevant Appendices and Schedules. In particular:
- The National Sporting Code Articles pertaining to protests and competitors obligations, and
- Appendix Five, Schedule C.
5.2 All competitors shall wear safety apparel in compliance with Appendix Two, Schedule A.
- ELIGIBLE VEHICLES
6.1 Compliance: All vehicles shall comply with Appendix Five Schedule C and Appendix Two Schedule A of the current MotorSport Manual or be a road car to a WOF standard.
Tyres free choice, rally, road, mud and snow. (No knobblies/ATV’s)
- DOCUMENTATION AND SCRUTINEERING AUDIT INSPECTION
7.1 Documentation: Will take place at the venue commencing at 9.00am and concluding at 9.30am.
7.2 Scrutineering Audit Inspection: Will take place at the venue commencing at 9.00am and concluding at 9.30am.
Competitors will be advised at documentation if their vehicle has been selected for audit.
7.3 Drivers’ Briefing: This will be held at the start line commencing at 10am. Attendance by all drivers is compulsory – a roll call will be taken and failure to attend will result in a penalty.
8.1 Passengers: May only be carried in accordance with Appendix Five, Schedule C Article 6.2.
8.2 Alcohol is not permitted to be consumed by any competitor or their crew at the event before or during the day’s competition.
8.3 Door Flashes: Door flashes with competitor’s numbers will be issued at Drivers Briefing. Where multiple drivers are sharing a vehicle, it is the competitor’s responsibility to arrive at the start line with the correct number displayed.
8.4 Start Order: Competitors are to run in numerical order. Any competitor unable to start in their correct order must obtain approval from the Clerk of the Course in advance or forfeit that run.
8.5 Motorsport Weekend: This event forms part of the Repsol Weekend of Motorsport along with the Taumutu Shingle Sprint. These events also count towards Ratec Motorsport Inc.’s Motorsport Weekend trophies in conjunction with the April Lupp Cup Trial.
8.6 Ratec Motorsport Inc.’s Championships: This event is a round of Ratec Motorsport Inc.’s
Speed, Autocross and Club Championship.
8.7 Results and Prizegiving: The fastest time of each course accumulated. Results and prizegiving will be held at the venue after the clean-up.
