2017 – 2018 SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS for
This event is a ClubSport Basic Event promoted by the Canterbury Car Club Inc.
The Event will be held under these Supplementary Regulations, the MotorSport NZ National Sporting Code and its Appendices and Schedules particularly Appendix Five, Schedule C being the Standing Regulations for all Clubsport Events and Appendix Two, Schedule A – Driver and Vehicle Safety Requirements.

Drivers Briefing 10.00am
Event Start 10.30am
Times subject to the finish time of the preceding event/Motorkhana
Membership: Non-members may compete in 2 events before being required to become a member.
Cost: $60 per competitor – Eftpos available and preferred
Car to Schedule A requirements (See Additional requirements below for Open Vehicles), Overalls and Helmet. Extinguisher and Neck-brace are recommended.
Cars will be scrutineered.
Club Membership is required when entering your 3rd Autocross.
Passengers are allowed in vehicles that have a full roll cage, and is authorised by the scrutineer and Clerk of Course to carry a passenger.
Shared cars may have 2 drivers only.
Open Vehicles Additional to the requirements of Schedule A, All Open Top Vehicles must be fitted with a rollbar in accordance with Appendix 2 , Schedule A, Article 4.6 (2) Note.5
Drivers Briefing: All drivers must attend Drivers Briefing or maybe excluded from the event and/or fined as per Schedule P.
Timing and Penalties: Electronic/Stopwatch timing
2 runs at each test and fastest counts
Cones moved: 5 seconds per cone
Wrong Direction best time of the slowest competitor PLUS 5 seconds
Results: Best run of each course, accumulated
Results announced after last event of the day and on www.canterburycarclub.co.nz and “canterbury car club motorkhana/autocross” on Facebook
Points: Class 1 0-1300cc, Class 2 1301cc-1600cc, Class 3 1600cc and over.
Interclub Series – Top 5 for each club
CCC Club Championship as Interclub – Overall placing – Best 20 events of the year count
CCC Motorkhana & Autocross Championships Rounds – Overall & Class – 75% (Rounded up as in 9 out of 11 events) count
– Volunteer Helper annual prize draw.
Fuel, Food and Toilets: Food outlets in Templeton and conveniences at Ruapuna Park.
Remember unregistered and unwarranted cars cannot drive on the roads.
Additional Supplementary Regulations
Tyres: Autocross and Motorkhana
The only tyres permitted for use are those that;
- Are Road Tyres – “Road tyre” means a tyre designed and manufactured for public road use that fully complies with the current LTSA Warrant of Fitness requirements, and
- Comply with Appendix Two, Schedule A, Article 4.8 and in particular the tread depth requirements detailed in (2)(a) minimum tread groove depth of 1.5mm ,
- No slicks allowed.
