- GT (Cars lapping in 1:30 and under)
- Club Saloons (non championship, any saloon car running laps no faster than 1:40)

Note – All classes are now run under the same level of permit, no more Clubmans. All drivers are required to meet to the same safety standards as per the Motorsport NZ Manual Schedule Z Part 1 Article 4.3
Important safety items required include compliant FIA/SFI: Double layer race suit, Underwear, Socks, Boots, Gloves, Balaclava.
All cars with a safety cage require the driver to be equipped with a suitable FHR (Frontal Head Restraint)
